The 5000 Quattrovalvole looks like it has 1000 lbs of cladding. The F430 has Sid from Ice Age eyes. The C7 Z07 has more tacked on bits than a bulletin board at a Save a Lot in the hood. The GT3 has a stupid looking front bumper. Etc. Etc.
Sports/Super cars that have a high enough base price, end coming out of the factory right the first time. By “right”, I mean as the designers/engineers intended. The more you mess with it, the more you mess it up.

If you don’t think the Countache looks better with the world’s largest coke tray on the back, you don’t understand what makes a Countache special.

The wing is stupid. @10:50

That’s not expensive enough, same with the Mustang. They have budget beginnings so more accountants are involved.

The wing is one of the most cocaine things on the most cocaine car ever.

Counterpoint.

lol even if they were $18K base price, that is waaay out of my league :] Heck, that’s used 996/ high mileage e60 M5 money!

You can keep it and your lower top speed. OG is just pretty.

Still terrible to drive though, so why not moar cocaine?

Nah.

Counter point:
The base car has not aged nearly as well.

I’ll give you that one. The z06 is subtle in its aggressiveness. The ZR1 though, oof.

Ha, well yea. But for a new car, it clearly had a lot of bean counters involved.

Thats what the flat dash is for.

Can't argue with that. Especially in Atomic orange.

Base model, no. Original, yes.
The LP400 looks better than the 25th Anniversary and the pre-facelift Diablo looks better than the 300ZX headlight one, but the GT3 RS has always looked better than the base 911 and the Zo7 is miles ahead of the Stingray.

We have different opinions on this. To me all the track day bro specials seem to try hard. I’d love to go in them, but would rather own the base (read: S, Z51).

Dunno man, the later “modernized" Panteras were pretty slick

While I like my bumperpad car (not the one pictured, wanted to have stock-to-stock pics), it seems most people prefer the later ones...

Always Milky? 100% all of the time?
Oppo Rule no.27 is that everyone is given 24hrs to retract something. :P

The biggest problem with the later Countach is the stupid American bumpers due to stupid American regulations. Don’t blame the car for that.
As for the F430, it is the base model. It’s the cheapest Ferrari sold at the time. It’s ugly because Ferrari made an ugly car.

Yea the bumpers are ugly but I hate the cladding too. But honestly I dislike the 430 because its so obviously a 360 refresh. It still has the same hood but skinny headlights way out on the sides. That hood to headlight space bothers me. #triggered.

I’ve always preferred the 360 as well. The 430 always just seemed plain to me.
